Against the British Home Minister who opposed the free trade deal, said- my soul, India in my blood
Earlier, Braverman had opposed the free trade deal, saying that Britain did not break away from Brexit because it should open its border to Indians in this way.
Indian-origin British Home Minister Suella Braverman's tone has changed on the free trade deal between India and Britain. He now supported free trade and said that it is because of the Indian diaspora that Britain is prosperous today. He said that Britain does not have a Europe-like mentality on trade and visas. He said that both the countries are eager to implement free trade. The British Home Minister said these things at a Diwali event organized at the India Global Forum. Earlier, he had opposed the free trade deal between India and Britain.
Braverman, the British Home Minister of Indian origin, had even said that this would increase the influx of Indian migrants to Britain. He had said that after the free trade deal, the number of Indians staying in the UK for more than the duration of the visa will increase. He had said that many Indians stay here even after the expiry of their visas. Referring to Britain's separation from Brexit, he had said that Britain did not leave Brexit because it should open its border to Indians.
Honoured to speak this evening at @IGFupdates Diwali celebration.

Britain eager for free trade deal
Now the British Home Minister has said that British PM Liz Truss and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are committed to fulfilling the free trade agreement between the two countries. Former British PM Boris Johnson laid the foundation of the Free Trade Deal during his visit to India. He started talks on free trade between the two countries and gave green signal to the agreement. Appreciating this, British Home Minister Braverman said that Britain is eager to complete the deal.
Proud to be an Indian - Braverman
According to the media report, he also said that through this only strengthening the economy is not the only objective. Referring to the Indo-Pacific, Braverman said that this trade deal is extremely important from the domestic level to the international level such as the Indo-Pacific. Apart from these, he said that the relationship between India and Britain will always be alive. He said that India is always in my heart, India is in my soul and my blood. Braverman, who hails from Goa and his mother from Madras, said, "I am proud of it."
