Once God sent an angel named Gabriel to a girl named Mary. Gabriel, the angel of God, went to Mary and told her that she had to give birth to the son of God. Time passed and Mary got married to a young man named Joseph. God's angel Gabriel came in Joseph's dream and told him that soon Mary would be pregnant and he would have to take special care of her because her future child was none other than Jesus himself. At that time Joseph and Mary used to live in Nazareth which is currently a part of Israel. At that time Nazareth was a part of the Roman Empire. 

Once, for some reason, Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem, which is now in Palestine, for some work, there were so many people in those days that all the hospices and shelters were full, so that Joseph and Mary could not find shelter for themselves.
