X said that instead of following the law, Moraes intimidated and threatened its employees in Brazil.
Elon Musk's company, which became X from Twitter, has suffered a major setback. X is shutting down its operations in Brazil with immediate effect. Social media platform X gave this information on Saturday and the company has blamed Brazil's top judge Alexandre de Moraes for this decision.

X's Global Government Affairs Team, through its official handle, has accused Alexandre de Moraes of threatening to arrest its legal representative in Brazil for not complying with censorship orders and said that instead of following the law, Moraes intimidated and threatened his employees in Brazil.
Reuters has reported that the social media giant published photos of a document allegedly signed by Moraes, which states that a fine of 20,000 reais ($3,653) per day and an arrest order will be imposed against X representative Rachel Nova Conceição if the platform does not fully comply with Moraes' orders.
