Sugarcane juice grown by this method also has a high sugar content. The thickness of sugarcane is also correct. According to the farmers of the area, the production of sugarcane has doubled by this method.
These days farmers cultivating sugarcane by trench method are profitable. They are getting a lot of benefits from it. Shriram Sugar Mill located in Hariawan area in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh is proving to be a boon for sugarcane farmers. This mill is not only making timely purchase and payment of sugarcane from the farmers, as well as providing the best varieties of sugarcane to the farmers by making nursery through scientific methods. The experienced researchers here have invented the trench method of sugarcane, due to which the farmers are earning double the profit from the sugarcane crop. In this, women of self-help groups are also participating enthusiastically, due to which they are also benefiting money.
Tarun Bansal, who has been associated with Shriram Sugar Mills and has been doing research on sugarcane for a long time, said that in the trench method, the number of two-eyed sugarcane pieces is grown in the number of 10 per meter by the bed method. With good care, this eye grows very well. It requires fertilizer, water and maintenance. Before soil preparation, spraying of Reagent 20 kg per hectare is done for termite and seedling borer control. To prevent this, many types of best medicines are available in the market. After sowing the eyes, the deposition starts rapidly in about 1 week. This entire deposition is completed in about 30 to 35 days. This is a parallel assembly.
Sugarcane production has doubled
Special care is taken for irrigation at the time of sowing. Irrigation is done in two-three days according to the season. Irrigation by making beds also saves about 50 percent of water. For weed control, Nutribugene is given at 725 grams per hectare. Regional farmer Sarvesh told that 30 cm deep groove is made while preparing it. The distance from one drain to another is about 120 cm. Before planting the trench, the field is prepared and fertilizers are applied.
Fertilizers include chemical fertilizers urea, DAP and potash. In one hectare, 130 kg of DAP, 100 kg of potash and 100 kg of urea are mixed at the bottom of the trench and immediately after that the trench is sown. With the right care, the sugarcane crop done by trench method is doubled along with low cost, which is being availed by the farmers of the area. This crop is mostly controlled by weeds and also remains queuing. Sugarcane juice grown by this method also has a high sugar content. The thickness of sugarcane is also correct.
