The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudy sky and rain in the country's capital Delhi for the next few days.  Delhi's Mayur Vihar, Burari and Noida received heavy rains on Saturday, making the weather pleasant but waterlogging has also occurred in many areas.  According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi was 33.5 while the minimum temperature was 26.3 degree Celsius.  The Regional Meteorological Department said in a tweet that light to moderate rain will occur at isolated places and adjoining areas of North-East Delhi, Central-Delhi, South-East Delhi, East Delhi, NCR (Noida, Greater Noida).

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a bulletin that the minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 26.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal.  At the same time, the maximum temperature is likely to be 33 degree Celsius.  He said that the air quality in Delhi has improved due to the rains.

Temperature will increase from monday

In fact, the Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain may occur in Delhi and its surrounding areas from Sunday 7 August to Wednesday 9 August.  However, it is also estimated that in the meantime, an increase of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius can be seen in the maximum temperature of the day from Monday.

Capital gets relief from humidity

Let us tell you that it has been raining in different parts of Delhi since Friday.  On Saturday also, it rained in Mayur Vihar, Burari and Noida of Delhi.  People got relief from the humidity due to rain.  However, due to this many areas were flooded and traffic was also affected.  On Friday also, there was light to moderate rain in Central Delhi and Saket, Malviya Nagar, Burari, GTB Nagar, East of Kailash, Lajpat Nagar and Kailash Hills.

In view of this, the Delhi Traffic Police issued some instructions to warn the people and asked the people to make their travel decisions accordingly.  The Meteorological Department has forecast cloudy sky and rain for the next few days in and around Delhi.
