PM Modi talks to Zelensky: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks on Monday regarding Ukraine-Russia war and G-20 summit. PM Modi told Zelensky once again that war is not the solution to any problem. Both the countries should talk to each other and move towards peace. Zelensky has also wished PM Modi for India's successful presidency of the G-20. 

Zelensky tweets his best wishes to India

Ukraine's President Zelensky tweeted and informed about the conversation between the two heads of state. He told that he had a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Wishes India a successful G20 Presidency.

He told that he had appealed for peace from the platform of G-20 itself and has full faith in India's participation in its implementation. I also thanked the United Nations for humanitarian assistance and support. At the same time, I wish India all success in its presidency of the G-20.

Despite pressure from America and Western countries, India has not yet condemned Russia, but has clearly said that both the countries should talk to each other for peace. In a phone conversation with Zelensky on October 4, PM Modi said that war cannot be a solution, India is always ready to contribute to any kind of peace efforts. The PM has also held talks with Vladimir Putin several times.
