World Designing Forum’s National Designer Award 2023 first phase World Designer conclave is all set to take place in Goa
The World Designing Forum (WDF) is the largest community of fashion designers in the world, bringing together talented individuals from all corners of the globe to showcase their creativity and push the boundaries of fashion design.
After the resounding success of the Taj Mahotsav Fashion Show in 2023, the WDF is now gearing up for the World Designer Conclave, which is set to take place in the Goa, India in July 2023.
This historic event marks the first time in Indian history that 200 fashion designers will be shortlisted to participate in the conclave, with a focus on supporting artisanal and handmade fabrics from India. The main agenda of the conclave with designer is to know the intention and innovation showcases, networking and business development opportunities curate to deliver tremendous value to the end-to-end ecosystem of fashion Industry.
One of the main highlights of the conclave will be the individual talk-shows with celebrity designers, where participants will have the opportunity to interact with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry. The CEO of World Designing Forum Mr. Ankush Anami Said “Actually the range and the differences in the number of the weavers and artisans in India are innumerable and due to the informal and unorganized sector of the artist we had taken the initiative to work towards the development and betterment of them by connecting all with our panel. Although Government has been introduced the many Yojana’s and other beneficial schemes but are they still aware about it? It is still questionable.”
We WDF believe that this platform can be helpful to present the rich culture and heritage of the country to gather the creative, innovative and determined people together under a roof. We are associated with fashion institute and all level fashion designers and now we are encouraging them to work with Indian handmade fabrics.
By this initiative we are developing an interest for the handmade fabric from the ground level. It is also be in favor for the weavers and the artisans once the fashion designer will start focusing on developing the trending designs on Indian Handmade fabrics it will give the boost to the maker (Weavers and Artisans), designer and buyer.
