Fierce bomb blast in Afghanistan, 3 dead including Taliban governor

Afghanistan Blast: the news of bomb blasts keep coming to the fore in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, once again a bomb blast has been reported in Afghanistan. The Taliban governor of the Afghan province has also been killed in this attack. According to the police, the governor died on the spot as soon as the attack took place. 

Recent attacks in Afghanistan

The Islamic State (IS) has recently carried out several attacks in Afghanistan. In January, a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Foreign Ministry in Kabul. At least 10 people had died in this. Last month, Taliban security forces claimed to have killed two senior IS members.

According to the Taliban-led government Kabul Fateh, IS-K's regional intelligence and operations chief, another IS-K member was killed in Kabul on 27 February. Another senior IS-K leader Ejaz Amin Ahingar was reportedly killed in a previous raid in Kabul.
