Chest pain is felt in these parts

Explaining about the dangerous symptoms of chest pain, Dr. Parneesh says that chest pain can usually occur in a wide area. This pain may not be on the right or left side of the chest. It can go to the jaw, go to the arms or it can be felt in the back. Chest pain can be felt in all these parts together or separately. If you feel this pain while walking and stops when you stop, then it can be angina.
 

These symptoms are signs of heart attack

But if you feel the same pain while sitting and it lasts for more than 15 minutes, then it could be chest pain. On the other hand, if these symptoms are accompanied by excessive sweating, nervousness, feeling faint or extremely tired, then it is highly likely that these could be symptoms of a heart attack. Apart from this, you can also identify heart attack by the following symptoms-
 
  • Shortness of breath when walking
  • Feeling tired
  • Heart rate higher than normal
  • Fainting spell

Panic Attack

This chest pain often occurs when one feels nervous. In this type of pain, a person feels pain with fast breathing.
 

Shingles

This is also a severe pain arising in the chest. The person suffering from this pain feels pain from chest to back.
 

Costochondritis

Costochondritis is also a type of chest pain. A person feels this pain when there is swelling in the bone that connects to the breast bone.
 

Gastroesophageal Reflux
