Amitabh Bachchan had promised a woman in a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 that he would help her in her treatment. The female contestant is suffering from brain tumor and was raising money for her treatment. After the show ended, the female contestant has revealed that Big B is bearing all the expenses.

In the quiz based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, many contestants come and win the hearts of the audience with their story, but host Amitabh Bachchan also does something after which he starts being discussed everywhere. In the recent episode, Amitabh had announced to help a female contestant and now he has fulfilled this promise.

Actually, in one episode, 27-year-old Nareshi Meena, a resident of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, came. With her ability, she won the prize money of Rs 50 lakh. Told in the show that she wanted to become a sub-inspector, but could not do so due to brain tumor. She was suffering from brain tumor since 2018. Somehow she had surgery in 2019, but the doctors were not able to remove the entire tumor.

Amitabh Bachchan had announced to get her treated

Narshi Meena had told that she can be treated only with proton therapy because the tumor is in a critical place. She had said that she will get her treatment done with the prize money she won in KBC. The words of the contestant made Amitabh Bachchan emotional and he promised the contestant that he will try to bear the expenses of her treatment and now he has fulfilled his promise.

Amitabh Bachchan did not go back on his promise

In a conversation with Times of India, Narshi Meena has told that Amitabh Bachchan's team has contacted her after the show ended. Big B's team has told her to choose whichever hospital or doctor she wants to get treated from. The team has assured her that Big B will bear all the expenses of her treatment. He said, "I bow my head in front of him with folded hands for this gesture of his."
