Priyanka said that she was not getting the work she wanted in Bollywood and was upset with the politics of the industry. She was not happy with the work she was getting in Bollywood.

Priyanka further said- Anjali Acharya of music label Desi Hits once saw me in a music video and she called me. At that time I was shooting for Saat Khoon Maaf. Anjali asked me if I would like to make my music career in America? I was looking for an escape from Bollywood at that time.

Priyanka said - I was looking for some way to get out of here. I was being pushed into a corner in the industry. People were not casting me. I had complaints against people. I'm not good at playing those kinds of games. I was tired of politics and needed a break.

Got a chance to go to America and work in the music industry

Priyanka said- Because of music, I got a chance to explore the other part of the world, the films that I was getting. I never longed for them. I had done a lot of work in the industry by then. Now I didn't feel that I want to do it further, so when the offer of music came, I said - go to hell, I have gone to America.

Priyanka started her music career in the year 2012. His first song was 'In My City', apart from this he sang songs like Exotic, I Can't Make You Love Me. She sang her first Bollywood song in the 2015 film Mary Kom.

Career not accumulated in music, identity made by acting

Priyanka Chopra stepped into the music industry. He worked with international singers like Pitbull Pharrell Williams and Jay Z. However, his career in music could not take off. During this, Priyanka realized that her acting was good. After this someone suggested to Priyanka Chopra that she could try her hand at acting in America. 

Priyanka is not much active in Bollywood since 2015

Priyanka has worked in about 53 Bollywood films. These include films like Barfi, Bajirao-Mastani, Dostana, Krrish and Don 2. His last Bollywood film was The Sky Is Pink in 2019, whose box office collection was Kuch Khan Nahi. However, since 2015, Priyanka has not been very active in Bollywood films. She is now making her mark in Hollywood films and international shows.

Priyanka made her acting debut in Hollywood in 2015 with the show Quantico. After this he worked in Bay-watch in 2017, in 2018 he appeared in the film A Kid Like Jack and in 2019 his film Is It Romantic. In 2023, Priyanka will be seen in Citadel and Love Again. Apart from this, her next Bollywood film is 'Jee Le Zara', in which Priyanka is accompanied by Alia and Katrina Kaif.
