What are the symptoms of malaria?

Persistent fever

In malaria, the patient gets high fever, which can last for more than three days.

Numbness in hands and feet

Having this problem increases the chances of getting cerebral malaria. Due to its excessive effect, strange cramps are felt in the hands and feet. If this disease occurs in a child, then his mental development can also stop.

Fever with headache

Symptoms appear 6 to 14 days after the bite of an infected mosquito. There may be fever with rapid headache.

Chills with fever

This is the main symptom of this disease. Fever is accompanied by severe chills. According to experts, this fever lasts for about 5-6 hours and then subsides after sweating.

Red eyes

In this disease, along with red eyes, burning sensation can also be felt in them. If these symptoms persist, then contact the doctor. 

Blood in stool

There can be many reasons for blood in the stool, including malaria.

Types of malaria

In Plasmodium falciparum (P falciparum), the patient becomes unconscious. He starts feeling cold with headache and starts vomiting continuously. There is also a possibility of fever.

Plasmodium malariae (P. malariae)

In this the patient becomes unconscious. He starts feeling cold with headache and starts vomiting continuously. There is also a possibility of fever.

Plasmodium malariae (P. malariae)

This malaria is not more dangerous than Plasmodium falciparum. In this, the patient starts getting fever every fourth day and protein starts coming out of his urine. Due to which there is a deficiency of protein in the body. 

Plasmodium vivax (P. vivax)

This type is found in most of the patients of malaria. In this, the patient has to face problems like back pain, arm pain, leg pain, high fever, loss of appetite etc.

Plasmodium ovale (P. ovale)

Due to this, tertian malaria occurs in the body.

Plasmodium knowlesi (P. knowlesi)

The person suffering from this starts getting fever along with chills. In this, problems like headache, loss of appetite also have to be faced.
