Questioning of Sonia Gandhi ended, Ghulam Nabi Azad attacked the ED, said- why do you harass a poor woman
Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said, "I would request the government as well as the ED to keep this thing in mind and repeatedly calling Mrs. Gandhi in front of the ED is not right, it is not right."
Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been questioned for the third time today by the ED. On Wednesday, Sonia Gandhi was questioned for three hours. Earlier, he was questioned for six hours on Tuesday and for two hours on July 21. Senior Congress leaders held a press conference before Wednesday's questioning. During this, senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said, "Why bother a poor woman."
The Congress leader said, “Earlier there were wars in the open field, but those fighting wars from both sides are instructed not to raise their hands on the woman and not on the sick. So this tradition is in our wars also. This was taken into account in earlier battles. So I would request the government as well as the ED to keep this thing in mind and repeatedly calling Mrs. Gandhi in front of the ED is not right, it is not right.
He also said that the ED has all the documents and that son Rahul Gandhi has been questioned for several hours, so "why bother a poor woman." Sonia Gandhi recently got infected with Corona virus infection and had to be admitted to the hospital for treatment. The ED had already summoned her but she could not appear before the ED due to ill health. During the three-day hearing, the Congress leader said that if the doctors were with her, "it is clear that she would be ill." Priyanka Gandhi was also present in the ED office during all the interrogations.
