China officially announced that President Xi Jinping will visit Kazakhstan this week and simultaneously attend the SCO summit in Uzbekistan. 

Let us tell you that this is his foreign trip for the first time in two years after the corona virus epidemic.

Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed his visit

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying announced in a brief statement here that the President will attend the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held in the Uzbekistan city of Samarkand from 14 to 16 September. of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will make a state visit.He will first visit Kazakhstan on 14 September, which will be his first foreign visit after 17-18 January. 

Jinping's last foreign trip was to Myanmar

Myanmar was the last country that Xi visited from January 17-18, 2020. It was only after the return of the President from Myanmar that the corona virus epidemic was detected from Wuhan city of China, which later gradually spread all over the world and due to its grip, millions of people died. 

Since then, Xi Jinping has not gone out anywhere nor has he been a part of any global celebrations. From Kazakhstan, Xi will move to Uzbekistan, Nebouring country, where the SCO summit will be held from September 15-16.

Iran will be involved in SCO summit this time

It is known that the headquarters of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is in Beijing. It is an eight-member economic and security bloc led by China, which includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India and Pakistan along with China. 

Iran will be formally included in this time's Samarkand conference. After this, the responsibility of its chairmanship will be given to India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin are also expected to attend the SCO summit.

Russian officials have announced that Putin and Xi will meet on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Samarkand, their first since Moscow's attack on Ukraine in February this year. 

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement on Sunday that Prime Minister Modi will visit Uzbekistan on September 15-16 to participate in the SCO and during this time he may also hold some bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit.
