Tata Motors has announced that the bookings for the Tata Tiago EV will start from 12 noon on October 10. If you want to buy this car, then you can pre-book this electric hatchback by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000 online by visiting the Tata Motors dealership on October 10 or visiting the company's official website. The company will start the test drive of this car at the end of December 2022 and its delivery will start from January 2023.

The Tata Tiago EV is the company's first electric hatchback that is available in a total of four trims - XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux. The car comes with two lithium-ion battery packs 19.2kWh and 24kWh. It boasts of a MIDC range of 250km and 315km respectively. Both the battery pack and electric motor have an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Along with this, for safety, it is giving a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km on both of these.

With the small and large battery pack, the motor of this vehicle generates maximum power of 61bhp and 110Nm and peak torque of 74bhp and 114Nm. Whereas it can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 6.2 seconds. The company says that the Tata Tiago EV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 57 minutes via a 50kW DC fast charger. With this, its 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs can be charged in 5 hours 5 minutes and 6 hours 20 minutes using a home charger.
