As per the reports, the game has been pulled due to a government order.

A Google spokesperson said that this has been done following the government's order. Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) was launched about a year ago when games like PUBG were banned in India. The government had banned it due to PUBG's connection to China. The reasons for banning BGMI are not yet known. No response has been available from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on this.

Let us tell you that the Indian government has done a digital strike on China a few days ago. According to sources, 54 Chinese apps posing a threat to India's security were banned by the Indian government. According to ANI, these 54 Chinese apps include Beauty Camera: Sweet Selfie HD, Beauty Camera: Selfie Camera, Equalizer and Bass Booster, Camcard for Salesforce Ant, Isoland 2: Ashes of Time Light, Viva Video Editor, Tencent XRiver, AppLock and Includes dual space lights. Earlier in June last year, India had banned 59 Chinese mobile applications, including widely used social media platforms such as TikTok, WeChat and Helo, keeping in mind the threat to the country's sovereignty and security. In the June 29 order, intelligence agencies had expressed concern about most of the banned apps, saying that users are collecting data and possibly even sending them outside.
