Citroen has shared a video in which they have announced the launch of the new vehicle on September 29. The new vehicle could be the Citroen C3 Ev which will get safety features like mounted controls, remote locking, tilt adjustable steering door, ajar warning, dual airbags.

Citroen India recently launched the Citroen C3 in India. Now the company is going to introduce the new car on September 29. Although the company has not yet disclosed the name and details of the vehicle. Many auto experts are speculating that this model could be the electric version of the C3 premium hatchback. Because, this vehicle has been spotted many times during testing on Indian roads.

The upcoming car will be designed on the electric version e-CMP (Electric Common Modular Platform), which also underpins the global-spec Fiat Panda electric car. The Citroen C3 Electric is likely to share its power train with the Peugeot e-208 EV.

The Citroen C3 electric hatchback could see some EV-type cosmetic changes similar to the regular model, the electric variant will get features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, front power windows with one-touch down for the driver, AC unit, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering wheel and more. If reports are to be believed, the electric C3 could be offered with two LFP type (Lithium-Ion-Phosphate) battery packs with 82bhp electric motor producing 40kWh power and 109bhp electric motor producing 50kWh power. might be able to.

On the other hand, this vehicle is likely to come with a smaller battery pack in the base variant, which can give a range of around 300 km on a single charge. With a 50kWh battery pack and electric motor, the global-spec Peugeot e-208 promises a range of over 350km (WLTP Cycle). It can be offered on the top-end variant of the electric hatch.
