DU Third Cut-off List: Opportunities for admission in major DU colleges open, seats vacant in these courses; View full list

Delhi University on Saturday evening released the third cut-off for admission to undergraduate courses. More than 51 thousand students have enrolled so far since the last two cut-offs. From the third cut-off, students will apply for admission from Monday. Opportunities for admission are available in leading colleges of DU. Science class seats are left in Hindu College. There are ample opportunities for admission in science courses including English, History, Life Science, B.Com Hons. Colleges have also reduced the cutoff from .25 to one percent.

Arts and Commerce seats vacant

The cut-off analysis shows that arts and commerce seats are still vacant. Talking about economics, admission can be taken in other colleges including Lady Shri Ram College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Daulatram College, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Gargi College, Hansraj College, Hindu College, Indraprastha College. Lady Shri Ram College, Hansraj College and Hindu College have fixed the economics cut-off at 99 percent.

On the other hand, opportunities are available for students seeking admission in English course in Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, Kirori Mal College, Maharaja Agrasen College, Deshbandhu Gupta College, Hansraj College, Lady Shri Ram College, Ramjas. Lady Shri Ram College has released the highest cutoff of 98.50 for the course. Ramjas College has fixed 98 percent cut-off. Students also have opportunities for admission in Geography courses. Geography seats are vacant in colleges like Kirori Mal College, Bhimrao Ambedkar College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Indraprastha College. Kiromadimal has released the highest cut-off of 98.50 for this course.

History and Political Science seats vacant

History seats are vacant in many other colleges including Miranda House, Hansraj, Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, Rajdhani College, Lady Shri Ram College, Daulatram College, Gargi College. Miranda House College has released the highest cut-off of 99 percent in history. Lady Shri Ram College has released 98.50, Hansraj College has released 98.25, Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College has released 97 percent cutoff.

The lowest cutoff for this course has been set by Kalindi College at 92. Opportunities for admission are also available in colleges of North as well as South Campus. There are opportunities for students enrolling in Political Science in Lady Shri Ram College, Kirori Mal College, Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, Deshbandhu, Kamala Nehru College, Ramanujan College etc. Lady Shri Ram College has declared the Political Science cut-off 99, Kirori Mal College 98.75, Daulatram College 98.50, Sri Venkateswara College 98.25 percent cut-off. Psychology course seats are vacant in Lady Shri Ram College, Mata Sundari College etc. Lady Shri Ram College has released the cut-off 99.25 for this course.

Hopes of admission in commerce remain

Shri Ram College of Commerce has released the highest cut-off of 99 percent for B.Com Honors. Whereas Lady Shri Ram College, Ramjas College, Hindu College, Hansraj College has released the cutoff of B.Com Honors at 98.75. Venkateswara College has set 98.25, Keshav Mahavidyalaya has fixed 97.50, Indraprastha College has fixed 97.75 cut off. On the other hand, the lowest cut-off has been released by Dyal Singh College and Bhimrao Ambedkar College. Both these colleges have fixed 94 cut-offs. Whereas Venkateswara College has set the highest cut-off of 99 percent. In many other colleges including Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, Aryabhatta, B.Com seats are still vacant.

More opportunities available in science

There are more opportunities for admission in science than in arts, commerce. Botany seats are vacant in Hansraj College, Kirori Mal College, Gargi College, Deshbandhu College. Hansraj College has released the highest cutoff of 95.66. Similarly, there are opportunities for admission in Chemistry in Hansraj College, Ramjas College, Daulatram, Bhaskaracharya College, Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, Acharya Narendra Dev College etc. Hansraj has released the highest cut-off of 97.66 in Chemistry.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay College had released the first cutoff of Computer Science 100%. Due to relatively lack of admission, the college had released the second cut-off of 98.5 percent, but now the third cut-off of computer science has been reduced by 1.5 percent. The college has released the cut-off of Computer Science at 97 percent. Admission opportunities are available in Ramanujan College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Dayal Singh College etc. In Mathematics, seats are vacant in Kirori Mal College, Hansraj College, Gargi College, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, Ramjas.
