According to Dr. Darshan Pal Singh of United Kisan Morcha, the protest of farmers on the borders of Delhi is completing its 4 months on 26 March. On this day, the Kisan Morcha has announced a Bharat Bandh against the anti-farmer government.
On the call of the Morcha, representatives of all the farmers, workers and student organizations, political parties and other state governments have also announced to support this bandh.
Darshan Pal has said that along with the closure of all small and big roads, trains will also be jammed. At the same time, he has also made it clear that the impact of the Bharat Bandh will be seen within Delhi as well.
He has said that the roads on which the farmers have been protesting for a long time, are already closed. But alternative routes were opened during this time. Dr. Pal said that the demands with which India is being shut down include the cancellation of all three agricultural laws, enacting laws on MSP and procurement, cancellation of all police cases made on farmers, returning electricity bills and pollution bills and diesel. Demand to reduce the prices of petrol gas is mainly included.
