In early trade on Thursday, the prices of 10 grams of 24-carat gold fell by Rs 110 to Rs 52250. On the other hand, silver fell by Rs 200 per kg to Rs 57,600 per kg. On the other hand, there has been a fall of Rs 100 in 10 grams of gold of 22 carat and the prices have come down to the level of Rs 47900. However, on the other hand, there has been a decline in the prices of gold and silver in foreign markets. Due to this, the dollar has softened and investors bought in gold amid fears of recession.

In Mumbai and Kolkata, 24-carat gold was being sold at Rs 52,250 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is trading at Rs 47,900 per 10 grams here. While in Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 52,400 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 48,050 per 10 grams on Thursday. On the other hand, talking about silver, one kg of silver is trading at Rs 57,600 in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
