'His story remains incomplete... 'Javed Akhtar gets emotional by remembering Satish Kaushik

Javed Akhtar on Satish Kaushik: Satish Kaushik had said goodbye to this world on 9th March. His departure was no less than a shock for Bollywood stars. Remembering the actor after his death, close friend Anupam Kher organized an event in Mumbai on his first birth anniversary.

Remembering Satish Kaushik, Anil Kapoor wept bitterly at the event, while lyricist Javed Akhtar also became very emotional. Recently, Javed Akhtar recalled Satish Kaushik and told that his story remained incomplete. Apart from this, he also talked about Satish Kaushik's company.

I am very sad that his story could not be completed. He had recently started his career as a producer and director and was getting full support from Lucknow. If he had lived for two-three more years, I am sure his company would have reached 150-200 crores.

Satish Kaushik was an actor as well as a great director

Satish Kaushik entertained his audiences for more than four decades. He started his acting career in 1981 with the film 'Chakra', in which he played the role of a boot polisher. After this, he played different characters in films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Woh Saat Din, Masoom, Mandi, Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, Prem Pratigya.

He was not only a great actor but also a director. In 1983, he worked as an assistant director with the film 'Aadharshila', after that in the year 1993 he made 'Roop Ki Rani, Choro Ka Raja' with Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. Tere Naam is also one of his most successful films.
