'Naatu Naatu' song wins the Best Original Song award

The song 'Naatu Naatu' from SS Rajamouli's film RRR has won the Best Original Song award. It is a matter of great pleasure for Junior NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt. Also, it is a matter of pride for Indian cinema. SS Rajamouli's film 'RRR' has actually been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards in two categories. It is nominated for Non English Language and Best Original Song Motion Picture. 

The song 'Naatu Naatu' from SS Rajamouli's film RRR has been one of the hit tracks of the year 2022. Its Telugu version is composed by veteran music director MM Keeravani and written by Rahul Sipligunj along with Kala Bhairava. Keeravani reached the stage to receive the Golden Globe Awards.

Ram Charan has expressed his happiness on winning the Best Song Award on social media. He has also shared Keeravani's photo with the Golden Globe Award. The accompanying caption read, "And we won, the Golden Globes". It is a matter of great pride not only for Ram Charan but for the entire country of India and the entire team of the film. 

Ram shared the experience of shooting the song

On the red carpet of Golden Globe Awards, Ram Charan while giving an interview to Mark Malkin, working for Variety magazine, said that when he was shooting an action sequence and had to dance vigorously on 'Naatu Naatu', how was the experience? Ram said my knees were hurting, and probably still are while talking about it (laughs). It was a kind of beautiful torture and look where it took us. We are standing here today standing on this carpet talking about it. Thanks everyone for this.

's song 'Hold My Hand', Lady Gaga, Bloodpop and Benjamin Rice's song 'Lift Me Up' which was from 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'.

SS Rajamouli's film RRR is a fictional film, whose story is based on two brave revolutionaries - Sitaram Raju and Komaram Bheem. The story is set in the 1920s. Ram Charan, Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan appeared in the film.

However, Alia and Ajay had special appearances. The film was released in theaters in the month of March last year. It did a business of Rs 1200 crore at the global level. It proved to be a tremendous hit at the box office. This is the first film in two decades to be nominated for the Golden Globe Awards. 

RRR is in competition with Korean romantic mystery film

Apart from this, in 'Best Picture - Non English Segment', RRR is in competition with Korean romantic mystery film 'Decision to Leave'. Apart from this, German anti-war film All Quiet on the Western Front, Argentine drama film Argentina, 1985 and French-Dutch drama film 'Klose' are also in the race to win this award.
