In the case of gang rape of two real sisters in Lakhimpur Kheri's Nighasan on Wednesday, both were cremated late on Thursday evening.  The District Magistrate has assured the family that their three demands will be fulfilled.  Politics continued throughout the day after the matter came to the media on Thursday morning.  The police have arrested all the six accused in this case.  According to the post-mortem report, both the sisters were first gang-raped, after which they were strangled to death with a rope.  The bodies were then hung from the tree.

The SC/ST Commission has taken cognizance of the gang rape and murder of two sisters in Lakhimpur Kheri's Nighasan.  The commission has sought a report from Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, DGP, District Magistrate Lakhimpur Kheri and SP Lakhimpur.

Cremation of dead bodies

The dead bodies were cremated late in the evening amidst heavy security forces after a day-long uproar over the murder of real sisters after the rape.  After the post-mortem, the administration was once again stunned when the family members refused to perform the last rites of the two girls, saying that until their demands were met, the bodies of the daughters would remain the same.  However, later on the persuasion of the administration, the family agreed and they voluntarily allowed the funeral.

All the accused were caught by the police in 15 hours

 According to the police, this incident happened around 5 pm on Wednesday.  After committing the crime, all the accused fled from the spot.  As soon as the information was received, special teams were organized and search for the accused was started.  In the continuous action of 15 hours, the police have arrested all the accused.  They have been identified as Junaid, Sohail, Arif, Hafeez, Karimuddin and Chotu.  One of the accused, Junaid, was shot in the leg during the encounter.

Victim's demand - all the accused should be hanged

In the case of gang rape and murder of two real sisters in Nighasan police station area of ​​Lakhimpur Kheri, there is a demand to hang all the culprits of the victim side.  The victim's father said that in this case we want speedy justice.  There should be justice.  The father has kept his painful side with a sore throat.  The father of the deceased has said that I want justice to be done.  They (accused) should be hanged.

Dead body hanged from tree strangled after gang rape

 Two real sisters whose bodies were found hanging from a Khair tree under suspicious circumstances were strangled to death with a rope.  He was also gang raped.  This was confirmed after the post-mortem of their bodies on Thursday.  At the district headquarters, a panel of Dr. Rajendra, Dr. Owais Ahmed and Dr. Archana conducted the post-mortem of both the bodies.  Videography was also done during this time.

The bodies of both the sisters were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem on Thursday afternoon.  When the bodies reached home, mourning spread throughout the village.  Seeing the dead body, the family was in a bad condition.  Along with this, there was a lot of anger among the people regarding this incident.  The relatives and relatives were adamant on not performing the last rites due to their demands.  The administration had to make a lot of effort to persuade them.  Late in the evening, the District Magistrate assured to fulfill his three demands.  After this the family got ready for the last rites.  Both the sisters were cremated late in the evening under police protection.

The culprits will get strict punishment: Deputy CM

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said in the Lakhimpur case that Junaid, Sohail, Hafizul, Karimuddin and Arif were involved in the rape and murder after the kidnapping.  First the girls were strangled to death and then hanged.  The government will take such a step that the souls of their future generations will also tremble.  Justice will be given to this family;  Action will be taken through fast-track courts.  Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the Lakhimpur incident is sad and unfortunate.  Strictest action should be taken against all the criminals.  I expect the opposition, be it Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi or Mayawati, to console the family instead of politicizing the matter.  Rule of law prevails in UP.

Opposition targeted police administration and law and order

 The Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the gang rape and murder of two sisters in the Nighasan of Lakhimpur Kheri.  The Human Rights Commission has said that prima facie this case appears to be a violation of human rights.  This matter is urgent and serious.  Therefore, Superintendent of Police Lakhimpur Kheri should send his report on this matter.

CM handed over investigation to ADG Prashant Kumar

 The Yogi Adityanath government has become very strict in the case of murder after the gang-rape of two real sisters in the Nighasan of Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday afternoon.  The six accused involved in this have been arrested by the police after the encounter on Thursday.  On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar will reach the spot.  He will give his report to CM Yogi Adityanath.
