Mulayam Singh Yadav: CM Yogi reached Saifai, many veterans will attend the funeral, officials engaged in preparation

Mulayam Singh Yadav Body in Safai: Samajwadi Party's founder and patron Mulayam Singh Yadav died today at the age of 82 at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. The last rites of his body will be held on Tuesday at 3 pm in Saifai, Etawah. 

On Monday evening, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid his last respect to Mulayam Singh Yadav's mortal remains at the Kothi in Saifai, Etawah. CM Yogi Adityanath paid last tribute to Mulayam Singh. Along with him, BJP State President Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh and Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh also paid their last respects to Netaji.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached his residence five minutes after Mulayam Singh Yadav's body reached Saifai. He landed in a helicopter at Saifai airstrip at around 5.15 pm. He had reached the airstrip before Mulayam's body reached Saifai. Here he waited. He reached Mulayam Singh's residence after receiving information about the body. During this, along with Akhilesh Yadav, Rajya Sabha member from SP, Professor Ram Gopal Yadav was also there. His body will be kept in the kothi till Tuesday morning. After this it will be kept in the pandal of Saifai Mahotsav. 

Many veteran leaders including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are also expected to visit Saifai on Tuesday. Along with them all the dignitaries including Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will reach Saifai.

District Magistrate Avnish Rai and SSP Jai Prakash Singh examined the arrangements regarding the program of the arrival of big leaders from across the country in Saifai. Traffic will also be diverted on Tuesday. Preparations were going on for this. In the evening, Commissioner Dr. Rajasekhar and IG Zone Prashant Kumar also took stock of the arrangements. 

Mulayam Singh Yadav will be given a final farewell with state honors on Tuesday. During this, Deputy CMs of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, BSP leaders Satish Chandra Mishra, RJD's Tejashwi Yadav and RLD's Jayant Chaudhary will also pay their last respects to Mulayam Singh Yadav tomorrow.

The mortal remains of former Chief Minister and SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav reached Saifai at around 5 pm via Agra-Lucknow Expressway. His body has been taken directly to his residence, while it was kept in the meeting hall for the public to see. His younger brothers Abhay ram Singh Yadav and Rajpal Singh Yadav were present there. His son former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav came along. As soon as he reached, a large number of people gathered at the residence. 

On Tuesday morning, his body will be taken on a chariot to Saifai Mahotsav pandal where people will have his last darshan. The preparations continued till late evening on this occasion. A waterproof pandal has been set up at the funeral site. 158 tall Samajwadi Party flag was lowered at Saifai Mahotsav venue.
