Rahul congratulates Pratibha Singh on her victory

Sukhu met Pratibha Singh

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh reached Holly Lodge at Sukhu Congress State President Pratibha Singh's house at 10.30 am amidst the ongoing preparations for the oath. Congress workers have gathered at Holly Lodge since morning. The Chief Minister invited him for the oath ceremony. On reaching Hollyoaks, Sukhu said that he is the chief minister first and then under the party and no one is bigger than the party. He further said that Pratibha Singh is my idol.

DGP inspected the ridge ground

The Ridge Maidan has been fully decorated for the oath ceremony. Instead of making a stage on Taka Bench, the stage has been made behind the library. Congress National President Mallika Arjun Kharge, former National President Rahul Gandhi, National General Secretary of the party Priyanka Vadra are scheduled to come. That's why police has been guarded at every nook and corner of the city. DGP Sanjay Kundu himself is present on the ridge to take stock of the security. Duties of police personnel are being imposed. Security has been cordoned off by dividing the city into sectors.

Governor's secretary also reached

Rajesh Sharma, secretary to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, also reached Ridge Maidan at 10.15 am. He saw the arrangements there. Some other officials of the Raj Bhavan were also present with him.
