Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin are divorcing after 25 years of marriage.
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin's 25-year marriage is coming to an end. She filed for divorce just days after the actor debuted an unusual new tattoo.
Jennifer Flavin, Sylvester Stallone's wife, has called it quits on their marriage after 25 rounds.
According to legal documents obtained by E! News, the former model filed for divorce from the Rocky actor on August 19 in a Florida court.
In a statement issued on August 24, Stallone's rep quoted the actor as saying "My family means everything to me. We are addressing these personal issues amicably and privately."
E! News reached out to Flavin's attorney for comment but did not receive a response.
Stallone, 76, and Flavin, 54, have been married since May 1997 and have three adult daughters: Sofia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
The couple filed for divorce just days after tattoo artist Zach Perez posted photos of himself tattooing Stallone's bicep with a sketch of Butkus, Rocky Balboa's bull mastiff, over an existing tattoo of Flavin's face.
Perez later deleted the photos, and his rep told the Daily Mail, "Mr. Stallone intended to refresh his wife Jennifer's tattoo image, but the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable. As a result, he was forced to cover the original image with a tattoo of his Rocky dog, Butkus."
The representative continued, "Mr. Stallone is devoted to his family. The Stallones are currently filming a reality show together for Paramount+."
The couple's divorce comes about two weeks after Flavin posted an Instagram photo of herself embracing their daughters with the caption, "Nothing else matters to me except these girls [red heart emoji]. Forever the four of us...#truth #family #forever"
Sophia stated, "You are our rock, cheerleader, and most amazing mother. We are so fortunate to have you...we adore you."
Furthermore, Sistine referred to their mother as the "strongest woman I know," while Scarlet responded with a heart emoji.
