Meanwhile, Britain's new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made his first visit to Kyiv. During this, he pledged to continue the strong support for Ukraine, which was the focus of his predecessor's policy. Earlier in the middle of the war, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Kyiv. During this met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Man cremated in poland

One of the people killed by a missile in a village in south-eastern Poland this week was buried on Saturday. Two people were killed in a missile attack this weekend. Later it was found that this missile attack was caused by two missiles fired from Ukraine's air defence system. Russian missile attack

A senior Pentagon official said Russia's increase in missile attacks in Ukraine is partly designed to drain supplies of Kyiv's air defence and gain dominance in the skies. Russian missile attacks have crippled nearly half of Ukraine's energy system. The Ukrainian government and officials in the capital Kyiv warned on Friday that the city could face a complete shutdown of the power grid as winter approaches.
