During the ongoing summit in Baku, hundreds of activists protested by forming a human chain outside one of the main halls. It was a silent protest. The activists waved flags. Many people had covered their mouths with the word silent. The protesters carried placards demanding more money to fight climate problems.
Bold action expected from G20 leaders: Simon Steele
UN climate chief Simon Steele on Saturday urged the leaders of the G20 countries to rapidly cut emissions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden will be among the leaders attending the G20 summit on November 18 and 19.
