According to the Meteorological Department, western disturbances will be affected in the state in the next two days. In some places there will be rain with strong wind, then light drizzle will occur.
Warning of strong winds and lightning in 10 divisions in Madhya Pradesh
The effect of cyclonic storm has started deepening in the state. Due to this, on Monday, the Meteorological Department has issued an Orange alert of heavy rain in 13 districts. At the same time, yellow alert has been issued in 10 divisions to warn of lightning strikes and strong winds. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in Narashpur, Sagar, Raisen, Rajgarh, Badwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Ratlam, Shajapur, Agar, Neemuch and Mandsaur during the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of lightning strikes and strong winds in the districts of Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar, Rewa, Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior and Chambal divisions.
Five die in Udaipur due to lightning strikes with thunderstorms and rain
Due to the storm, there has been considerable loss of life in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Five people have died in the division due to lightning strikes during thunderstorms and rains. They include two children. Drizzle was continued in most parts of the division on Sunday night, while thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain also occurred at many places. During this time, life became disturbed. Trees and electric poles were uprooted in many places in the rural area. On May 18 and 19, there is a possibility of heavy rains with strong winds in some districts of the division.
Delhi-NCR will rain with strong wind
The effect of the new Western Disturbance is being seen in Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cloudy today. Light rain is expected. On Monday, Delhi's maximum temperature was two degrees below normal at 37.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was three degrees below normal at 23.6 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels in the air ranged from 28 to 66 percent. The Met Office forecast that it will be generally cloudy on Tuesday as well. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 33 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
