The first bid was made on Smriti Mandhana and crores of rupees have been showered on her in the first go itself. Smriti Mandhana has been bought by the Bangalore team for Rs 3.40 crore. In this way, she has also become the first such player of the women's IPL. on which bids have been made. 

Please tell that Smriti Mandhana is considered the most important player of the Indian women's cricket team. BCCI is going to organize Women's IPL for the first time, this league will start from next month i.e. March. While bidding is being done this February.

Players from 15 countries included

Let us tell you that players from 15 countries have participated for the first women's IPL. Apart from India, players from Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland and Zimbabwe are included. While 8 players from Hong Kong, Thailand, UAE, Netherlands and USA have also participated in the bidding. The highest base price of 24 players in the auction is Rs 50 lakh. Five teams in women's IPL
