Delhi, batting first in this match, scored 223 runs at the loss of just 2 wickets, in response, the Bengaluru team was able to score only 163 runs and lost by 60 runs.

American bowler Tara Norris did wonders for Delhi Capitals and took five wickets. She has become the first bowler to take 5 wicket haul in the Women's Premier League. Tara Norris completely destroyed the middle order of RCB. He took 5 wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs. The RCB men's team also had a bad start to the IPL and now the same has happened to the women's team.
