A massive fire broke out after an explosion in a military vehicle in the densely forested Bhatadudiyan area. Initially, it was revealed that the incident happened due to lightning. Now military officials have spoken of a terrorist attack. In the area where this incident took place, there was an encounter between terrorists and army personnel for several days last year.

The police officer said that the accident took place on Thursday afternoon in Bhatadudiyan area on the border of Poonch and Rajori districts. A video of this incident has also surfaced. He told that the military vehicle was carrying some goods on the Poonch-Jammu National Highway. Soldiers were also aboard in it.

A group of terrorists attacked the vehicle in the midst of a dense forest. Due to this the fire broke out in the vehicle. Due to this, the soldiers riding in it were badly burnt. Five of them died on the spot. Army officers and soldiers who reached the spot took the scorched comrades to the local hospital.

According to the Northern Command, terrorists attacked an army vehicle with a grenade at Bimbhar Gali in Rajori sector at 3 o'clock on Thursday and on the Poonch border. It was raining in the area at the time the attack was carried out. Taking advantage of very low visibility, the terrorists carried out the incident.

The vehicle caught fire after the grenade exploded. In this, five soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles Unit deployed for counter terrorist operation were martyred on the spot. Another serious jawan is undergoing treatment at the military hospital in Rajouri. The search operation is going on in the area after the incident.
