Hospital sources confirmed that 48-year-old Sourav Ganguly required angioplasty. Doctors have told that he has had a cardiac arrest. Ganguly will undergo angioplasty. Although doctors have also said that there is nothing to worry, at the moment his condition remains stable.

According to hospital sources, Ganguly's health is stable at the moment. After checkup, it was found that he had some serious chest problems. The hospital has formed a board of three doctors along with Dr. Saroj Mandal, who will now perform angioplasty.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has wished Sourav Ganguly to get well soon. Mamta Banerjee tweeted, "Sad to hear that Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild cardiac arrest and was admitted to the hospital. Wish him to get well soon. My prayers are with him and his family."
