The Indian cricket team will play white ball series against Australia and South Africa in September and October. Australia has to play a three-match T20 series in India, while South Africa has to play a three-match T20 and ODI series.

The BCCI on Wednesday announced the dates for this year's upcoming home series against Australia and South Africa. The Australian team will tour India in September for a three-match T20I series (India vs Australia series), starting with the match to be played in Mohali on September 20. At the same time, the South African team will come to India for the white ball series in September and October. South Africa is scheduled to play the first three-match T20 series against Team India. After this, the ODI series of the same number of matches will be played between the two teams. The T20 series will begin on September 28, while the first match of the ODI series will be played in Lucknow on October 6.
In an official statement, the BCCI said, "Against Australia, Mohali will host the first T20I, after which Nagpur and Hyderabad will host the second and third T20Is. The home series against South Africa will begin in Thiruvananthapuram. The second T20I will be played in Guwahati on Gandhi Jayanti on the occasion of mahatma gandhi's birth on October 2. After that, the last T20 match will be played in Indore."

"The action will then be shifted to Lucknow on October 6 where the ODI series will begin. Ranchi and Delhi will host the second and third ODIs respectively."
