North Korea's official news agency KCNA quoted a Defense Ministry spokesman as saying that Pyongyang sees the possibility of more drones flying over the capital and its army has been asked to be ready for all scenarios, including conflict.

On Friday, North Korea accused South Korea of ​​sending drones into Pyongyang overnight this week and last week and said the intrusions required retaliation.

Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, warned Seoul on Saturday of a "terrible disaster."

She said the South Korean military was responsible if it failed to identify drones sent by an NGO crossing the border.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said it could not confirm North Korea's allegations.
