At least 38 people were killed when a passenger bus collided with a truck on a highway in Brazil's Minas Gerais state early Saturday. An official at the scene said 13 others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.
Witnesses told rescue teams that a tire on the bus burst, causing the driver to lose control and crash into the truck. The bus had left Sao Paulo and was carrying 45 passengers.
