CBSE Board Exams 2022 Term 1 Datesheet to Be Out Today

The CBSE Board Datesheet 2022 for Class 10th and 12th term 1 board examinations will release today, October 18. The Central Board of Secondary Education gave confirmation last Thursday about the release date of the CBSE Term 1 Board Exams 2022 datesheet.

All the interested candidates are expected to keep an eye on the official website of the CBSE Board for the latest updates on the datesheet. The board examinations will be conducted between the month of November-December 2021.

This time, the board is up to something else. Instead of one annual exam for secondary and senior secondary in February-March, the CBSE is ready to conduct two term-end exams. According to the board, the term 1 exam will be objective type and the test duration will be of 90 minutes.

Earlier, the commencing time of the tests was 10:30 am but due to the winter season, the timings changes to 11:30 am. The board suggests that it will conduct the second-term examination in March-April, 2022. Now the board has to decide whether the examination will be objective or subjective-type depending on the COVID situation in the country.

What Sanyam Bhardwaj Has to Say About the CBSE Board Exams?

“Once the term 1 exam will be over, the results will be announced in the form of the marks scored. It is certain that no student will be tagged in the pass, compartment, and essential repeat categories after the first term exams. However, the board will announce the final results after the end of the first and second-term examinations”, says CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.

Furthermore, he added that “The completion of the practical exams or internal assessment will take place before first-term exams get over. The marks allotted will be 50% of the total marks and mentioned in the syllabus. The schools will be informed soon about the scheme so that they can make necessary preparations.”

CBSE decides to divide the subjects into two parts – major subjects and minor subjects. This decision was taken because CBSE offers a total of 114 subjects in class 12th and 75 subjects in class 10th. It is going to be a big task for the CBSE to conduct exams for 189 subjects, also the duration of the examinations would be of around 40-45 days.
