In view of the fast growing cases of Coronavirus, the Maharashtra government has announced a curfew for 36 hours in Wardha district. Due to this, the district administration has suddenly closed the school-college till further orders.

Mumbai: Coronavirus has started showing its effects once again in Maharashtra. The number of infected people is increasing here, due to which the Uddhav Thackeray government has given strict orders. Due to this, curfew has been announced in Wardha District from 8 am Saturday to 8 am Monday.

School-college closed till next order

According to the order, only those associated with medical stores and urgent services will be allowed to move in curfew. Apart from this, everything will be closed. This time the government has also ordered the petrol pump to be closed. Wardha District Collector Prerna H Deshbhratar told that in view of increasing cases of Corona virus, orders have been issued to keep schools and colleges closed till further notice.

5427 cases recorded in 24 hours

According to the report, 8 districts of Maharashtra have seen a sudden increase in the number of corona infections. In the last 24 hours, 5427 new corona cases have been reported in Maharashtra, which is the largest figure in any state this year. The government has issued strict guidelines to stop the Corona epidemic returning fast. Also, lockdown has been announced on weekends in Amravati and night curfew in Yavatmal.

90 people likely to develop new strain

At the same time, BMC in Mumbai has sent samples of 90 such people to the National Institute of Virology (NIV), in which the possibility of new strains of corona virus has been seen. Its report will come within 7-10 days. Till then, BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has ordered strict action against those who violate the Corona Guideline.
