The attacks come after an alleged ransomware attack that crippled the online services of AIIMS.
Hackers plans did not succeed
According to officials, "The content of the ICMR website is secure. The site is hosted at NIC data centre, so the firewall is from NIC which they update regularly. The attack has been successfully prevented." He said that the cyber attackers were blocked and they could not succeed in their plan. Officials told that an alert has been issued regarding this and vigilance is being taken.
Cyber attacks increased from 2020
Meanwhile, let us also inform here that in view of the increasing cyber attacks, government organizations have been advised to update the security patch of the operating system. Patient information systems in healthcare organizations have been one of the top potential targets for hackers, officials said.
