 The financial condition of the family was not so good.  Sneh's father's old cycle would go to the club every day by driving 12 kilometers and learn the nuances of cricket, but there were no opportunities in Uttarakhand.  When Sneh was 16 years old, father Bhagwan Singh Rana took a big decision to fulfill her daughter's dream of becoming a big cricketer.  Sold all the farming and shifted to Haryana.  Did not think at all that if the daughter could not progress in her game, then how would the family's livelihood run.  He had faith in his daughter's ability.

Sneh Rana has been the captain of Punjab team

After living in Haryana for two years, the family had to shift to Amritsar.  Sneh started playing from Punjab and his career went ahead.  Became the captain of Punjab Under-19 team.  Sneh is the second cricketer from Punjab to join the Indian team after Harmanpreet Bhullar.  Sneh says- Father has a big contribution in making my career.  He put everything at stake for my career.  In the year 2014, Sneh was selected in the Indian women's team in the match against Sri Lanka.

 In Group A match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.  In front of India's brilliant bowling, the entire team was bundled out for just 99 runs in 18 overs.  The Indian team achieved the target of 100 runs by eight wickets and registered a resounding victory.  Mandhana stunned everyone by playing an unbeaten 63.
