A local media quoted Pakistan's disaster management officials as saying that nine members of a family were washed away in the floods in the last 24 hours. According to Dawn news, seven children and a woman were among the dead.
Flood took many lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Apart from this, according to a report released by PDMA, at least 10 people died and 17 were injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to floods and roof collapse of a house. Also, in the last 36 hours, about 100 houses have been completely damaged in the flood, due to which people are facing a lot of trouble. However, the Government of Pakistan has imposed Section 144 in Balochistan province in view of heavy rains.

"Section 144 has been imposed in the province and citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel for 10 days," Balochistan Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz Ukali said. He said that since June 1, the rains have claimed 124 lives and damaged 10,000 houses in the state. About 565 km of roads and 197,930 acres of agricultural land have been damaged by the floods, while 712 livestock have also been killed.
50 villages of Sindh province submerged due to flood
After the sudden floods from Balochistan, flood havoc continues in Sindh province of Pakistan. According to the information, more than 50 villages were submerged in Sindh province. Due to torrential rains and flash floods in Balochistan, another stream of water has entered the hilly region of Kachho in the adjoining Kambar-Shahdadkot district and Dadu district, causing more damage in different areas, ARY News reported.
People forced to leave flood affected area
According to ARY News, local sources said that people in the affected areas were forced to take shelter in hills and protective dams to save their lives. Also, a 70-year-old elderly woman in a flood-affected village has died due to health condition due to non-availability of medical help. Pakistan's disaster management officials said on Saturday that 19 more people were killed and hundreds more stranded in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces in heavy rains and floods. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast of more rain and thundershowers in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
