Harmanpreet Kaur breaks Kohli's record, becomes number one for most runs in T20I as Indian captain

Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian team lost by 9 runs in the final match of women's T20 cricket of the Commonwealth Games 2022.  After this close defeat at the hands of Australia, India lost the gold and this team got the silver medal.  Australia had scored 161 runs in 20 overs in this match and in response, the Indian women's team was all out for 152 runs.  Indian women's team lost their 7 wickets for 34 runs in this match and got defeated.  There was a time when the team's score was 118 runs for 3 wickets, but after that the team was all out till the score of only 152.

Harmanpreet Kaur breaks Virat Kohli's record

In the final match against Australia, team captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 65 runs while playing the captaincy innings.  He scored these runs in 43 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 7 fours.  Harmanpreet Kaur made a big record on the basis of her innings and left behind Virat Kohli too.  Harmanpreet Kaur has now become the highest run-scorer for India as a captain in T20 International cricket after her 65-run innings.

In the name of Harmanpreet, there are now 1618 runs in T20 as captain, which he has scored in 74 matches, while Virat Kohli scored 1570 runs in T20 International cricket as captain.  This record of Virat Kohli has now been broken and he has slipped to the second number.  At the same time, Hitman i.e. Rohit Sharma is present at number three with 1161 runs.
