HCA issues statement on Jr NTR's absence at Arwad ceremony

Los Angeles, February 28 (Language) Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's film 'RRR' bagged four awards at the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Film Awards 2023, but the absence of the film's star Jr NTR at the award ceremony grabbed everyone's attention.

Director SS Rajamouli, actor Ram Charan and music composer MM Keeravani represented the RRR team at the event organized by HCA. 

In a tweet, the HCA said that Jr NTR was invited but could not attend the ceremony as he was shooting for his next film in India.

The Hollywood Critics Association wrote in a tweet on Tuesday, 'Dear RRR fans and supporters, we had invited NT Rama Rao Jr. to attend the ceremony, but he is shooting for a new film in India. He will soon receive his rewards from us. Thank you for your love and support.'

Significantly, last week, the award ceremony was held at Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles. The film also won Best International Film, Best Action Film, Best Stunts and Best Original Score for the Oscar-nominated song "Naatu Naatu" at the ceremony.
