Pakistan's Sindh government has ordered a high-level inquiry into the kidnapping of a 14-year-old Hindu girl from the city of Hyderabad. Officials gave this information on Tuesday. It is said that the girl was recently abducted from Fateh Chowk area of ​​Hyderabad, when she was returning home from somewhere. The girl's parents lodged a complaint with the police but her whereabouts could not be traced. 

High level inquiry ordered into the incident

Officials said the Sindh government has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident. A spokesman for the Sindh government said senior police officials have already launched an investigation and are in touch with the affected family. A senior police officer in Hyderabad said they are also probing the incident of two other Hindu women who went missing in Hyderabad and Mirpur khas in the past one week.

Increase in cases of forced conversion

Sindh province has seen a significant increase this year in cases of abduction and forced conversion of Hindu girls and women. These incidents are causing a lot of disgrace to Pakistan at the international level. Recently, a rescued girl told a local court that a Muslim man had kidnapped her and forcibly converted to Islam and married her. In another recent incident, a teenager was shot dead outside her house in Sukkur town after she refused a marriage proposal from a Muslim man.
