Honda has finally introduced its all new electric SUV, the Prolog in the international market. Which has been developed in association with General Motors. According to media reports, this new SUV will be made available for sale in North America for the first time in 2024.
These new electric cars have been developed on GM's Ultium platform. Let us tell you, this is the same platform on which premium SUVs like Cadillac Lyriq, Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Hummer have been built.
Engine
Powertrain details of the electric vehicle have not been announced yet, but auto experts believe that it could be similar to the Blazer. The Blazer is currently capable of delivering a range of up to 510 km. Apart from this, a 190kW battery pack has been installed.
Honda's plan
Honda recently revealed that the company will discontinue all its diesel models by the year 2025. This is the reason why the company's focus is on EVs. Talking about the features, it gets an 11-inch digital instrument display on the interior with an 11.3-inch central touchscreen. Its interior colors are also looking quite spectacular.
When will it be introduced in India
Honda is preparing an all-new SUV based on the City sedan for the Indian market, which could be revealed next year. The brand currently does not sell any SUV in India. The company has not made any official announcement about when the EV introduced in the global market will be brought to India.
