'I don't want India to see me crying', emotional Harmanpreet Kaur gives an interview wearing sunglasses after the match

Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur wearing sunglasses during the presentation ceremony after the match. It was not a style statement by any means, rather she hid her tears. Harmanpreet Kaur did not want the country to see her crying. A lot has been said about Harmanpreet Kaur as a captain, a cricketer and a personal matter.

Harmanpreet Kaur played the match despite being ill. He gave his all in the match. The right-handed batsman took the Australian bowlers to task and put India in a great position. But she was unfortunately run out and the Indian team lost to Australia by 5 runs in a closely fought match. 

Let us tell you that in Cape Town, Australia batting first scored 172 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Indian team could score 167 runs losing 8 wickets. Talking to the broadcaster after the match, Harmanpreet Kaur said, 'I don't want my country to see me crying and that's why I am wearing sunglasses. I promise that we will improve and will not let our country down like this again.

Harmanpreet Kaur calmed herself and said, 'Nothing can be more unlucky than the way I got run out. It was more important to try. We had talked that we will fight till the last ball. The result didn't go in our favor but I am very happy with the way we played in this tournament. We knew that even if we lost wickets in the beginning, our batting order was strong.
