Indian cricket team's middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav is scoring fiercely in T20 International cricket these days and has become the life of Team India in terms of batting. Suryakumar Yadav, the highest run-scorer for India in the three-match T20 series against Australia, made a big record during his innings in the first match of the three-match T20 series against South Africa. Suryakumar Yadav has now become the highest run-scorer for India in T20Is in a calendar year. Till the time of writing the news, he was playing 17 runs in this match. 

Suryakumar Yadav became number one by breaking Shikhar Dhawan's record

Suryakumar Yadav broke Shikhar Dhawan's record as soon as he scored 8 runs in the first ODI against South Africa. Shikhar Dhawan was the highest run-scorer for India in T20 International cricket in a calendar year and he did this feat in the year 2018. This year he scored 689 runs, but Suryakumar has now surpassed him and he has come at number one for India in terms of scoring the most runs in T20Is in a calendar year. At the same time, Virat Kohli is at number three in this case, who scored 641 runs in the year 2016, while Indian captain Rohit Sharma is at number four in this list. Rohit Sharma scored 590 runs in the year 2018.
