"India is Emerging as the Next Big Economy": Vikalp Singh Triumphs at IISAF's Global Brilliance Awards Ceremony

The Indian International Students and Alumni Federation (IISAF) UK on Thursday (July 25), celebrated its Global Brilliance Awards Ceremony at the prestigious Lords House in the British Parliament. The event, aimed at recognizing the achievements and contributions of Indian students in the UK, was graced by several notable dignitaries including Chief Guest Mr. Harish Nadda, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India, and Special Guests Lord Rami Ranger, MP Jack Rankin, and Mr. Vikalp Singh.

Among the highlights of the evening was a keynote address by Advocate Vikalp Singh, who underscored India's burgeoning status as a global economic powerhouse. Singh highlighted the remarkable progress and potential of India on the global stage. In his compelling speech, Singh declared, "India is emerging as the next big economy," reflecting on the country's rapid growth and significant contributions to various global sectors.

The IISAF UK, led by Chairperson and Founder Aditya Pratap Singh, is dedicated to supporting Indian students in the UK. By providing invaluable networking opportunities and fostering community-building, IISAF ensures that students can connect with peers and professionals. The ceremony was organised to honor the outstanding achievements of Indian alumni and to foster a sense of community among them. Vikalp Singh also gave the example of Swami Vivekananda, an Indian leader par excellence and how his address at the Art of Institute in Chicago had been a game changer. Singh said the nation has taken long strides from the time of "Narendra to Narendra" bridging the eras between current prime minister Narendra Modi and Vivekananda who was born as Narendranath Datta. Singh's address emphasized the importance of perseverance, innovation, and the role of the Indian diaspora in driving global economic growth.

Singh then took part in distributing the awards with other dignitaries which was given to eminent talents including students and professionals from legal, medical, culinary and academic fraternity. The Global Brilliance Awards Ceremony was not just a celebration of individual achievements but also a testament to the collective efforts of Indian students and professionals who continue to make significant impacts in their respective fields.
