Tejaswi, from Frisco, Texas, received this honor for her innovation Shield Seniors. Shield Seniors is a website designed to educate people over the age of 60 about online fraud, analyze suspicious emails and messages uploaded by users, and report fraud.
When did you start coding?
Time said, her work to protect American seniors has earned her recognition as Time's Kid of the Year for 2025. Tejaswi is the first honoree who is also a Time for Kids Service Star. Tejaswi started coding in eighth grade.
She gives tuition
She was praised in the 2024 Congressional App Challenge. She plays violin in her school orchestra, and provides online tutoring in math and English to Bhutanese refugees through a nonprofit in India.
