Afghan President expressed grief
Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani expressed regret over the brutal killing of Danish, saying that I am deeply saddened by the shocking news of the death of Reuters photojournalist Danish Siddiqui while covering Taliban atrocities in Kandahar.
He said, 'I express my heartfelt condolences to Siddiqui's family and our media family. I reiterate my government's unwavering commitment to freedom of expression and the protection of independent media and journalists.
Danish Siddiqui recently shared pictures and videos related to Afghanistan coverage on his Twitter account. During this, Danish Siddiqui's convoy was also attacked several times, the video of which he shared.
